I was one of the Art Directors for the 2D Party deduction game, "Potion Problems." I was responsible for creating the overall look of the game and working with the director to help realize the intended vision. I also built part of the style guide, to better help our artists understand the specifics of the style and make it as easy as possible for them to create assets that fall within the style parameters. I was also one of the primary people giving guidance and critique to the other artists on how their designs could function within the game and how a certain design choice might ripple to other teams or areas with things like animation and gameplay.
I did a large portion of the character/creature design, including 6 of the playable characters, as well as the frogs that they turn into. I also got to design some of the environments, where I worked heavily with our game designers to make sure it worked with our gameplay loop and was still a fun and functional space for the players.
